Everybody Loves A Good Homecoming

Everybody loves a good homecoming!  For every Christian, we long for the day when, in the words of 1 Thessalonians 4, we are reunited with one another and “so shall we ever be with the Lord.”  Love, pure love, is the ultimate and eternal destiny for all who belong to Jesus (1 Corinthians 13).

OK, I want you to get a glimpse of a joyful homecoming that happened just last weekend at the South Carolina – Georgia football game in Columbia, SC.  The Faile family from Kershaw, South Carolina, was the Military Family of the Game and they were set to be recognized on the field.

Their first surprise was a video message to them from their dad/husband, Sergeant First Class Scott Faile, playing on the jumbo video screen.  But then came an even bigger surprise.  Enjoy …
